#25.

Life's been a whirlwind ever since I've been playing a fool with my studies & such. I know, I've been neglecting my studies & also whatever Mum & Dad told me, but it seems so redundant. I don't seem to realise what I'm doing wrong. I too can't do what I want to do. It's frustrating, when you can't do what you want to do!

School started on Wednesday this week due to the 2 holidays for Chinese New Year. Instead of staying home to study, revise & complete my holiday homework, what did I do? I went out. And, I still had the cheek to reassure myself that I'll complete it by Tuesday. It definitely didn't work out. I only managed to complete my 19 Vocabulary words, memorising the words for Spelling on Wednesday (28 Jan), finish up my final draft for my English Personal Recount & the Maths Worksheet. Trust me, I did do the worksheet but I didn't put much effort to it. I did it without thinking of the correct reasons & workings. I told you before, Maths will forever be my arch nemesis.

But, I will try to get in good terms with the evil subject. I'm gonna make this work. :)

I was still in holiday mode when I got back in school on Wednesday. It sucked, and I wasn't in the best mood. The Year Of The Ox is gonna be a year that I'm gonna hate the most. It's only the starting of the year, and too many shits have been happening. I'm still young, and I still need peace in my soul.

And so... thank god I passed my spelling! And this spelling is not just spelling of words, but we have to include the definitions - all of them & give a sentence example for each of the definition and each week, we'll have 5 words to deal with. I'm still waiting for the next 5 words so I can score full marks again!

Well, the lessons today wasn't much of a bore though compared with the other days. I was thankful Mr S. didn't had a test on Periodic Table for us today! He's such a great individual. He thinks just like us, and understands our way of learning. He knows our studying pace, and definitely he motivates us to learn more about Chemistry, not only that but the other subjects we're taking too.

The Chemistry test on Periodic Table will be on the 6th of February & I'm gonna test myself using the worksheet on my notes. We've gone through it & a way to excel & get a distinction for the test next week, is to do the worksheet with using our own skills of memory & the ways to get facts about the chapter. Some of the notes are still vividly flowing in my brain. I'm still remembering them! See Mr S., your methods work!

After an hour of Chemistry, it was an hour of English. Actually, we were expecting the guests from Indonesia (they arrived earlier today) to get a lil' something something from the lesson but in the end, they didn't appear so phew. We went through the common mistakes we Singaporean students make in oral conversations. I founded it very helpful because our 'N' Level orals will be somewhere in June/July this year, I guess.

Malay was after recess. I spent my recess with Eunice at the library. It was great, but screw those librarians & students who kept making a fuss while we were engrossed reading our respective novels in the comfortable sofa at the corner. Anyway, Malay was a bore as usual. We spent the first half of the lesson presenting what we think about students working part time during the school holidays and the remaining minutes, we started on our essay about the topic. I'm already halfway through it & I shall complete it on Monday, during Malay lesson as what Cikgu S. said since she won't be in school on that day.

I have nothing much to say about Biology & CME. All I know, was that I was busy thinking what time it was so I could get my butts out of the stinking torture chamber & make my way home to have my beauty sleep.

I spent an hour catching up with my sleep but I'm still exhausted & I think I'm gonna get sick. My eyelid is still swollen but now, it's recovering. It's not getting too obvious though. :)

Speaking of beauty, I miss my beautiful-s. Who, you may ask...?
Who else, if not my girlfriends!
Yes, I miss all of you 11 girls! Seriously, like kuh-rayzeeee. :(

P/S: Next week is gonna suck! Tests here & there. It's driving me up the wall!

#23.

I spent my day with three of my girlfriends yesterday and they were namely Azie, Radiah & Syella. Since it have been weeks since we last seen each other, Syella & I planned to ask the GFs out but sadly, only 4 of us could make it. Basically, even if I've met you like a week ago, I'll definitely miss you too.

I waited for Azie at the Jurong East Bus Interchange for half an hour. The time we were supposed to meet was 1.30pm and she came at 2pm! Hah. Oh well, now I feel how she feels when she waits for me. Gee, torturing! What more with the you-know-who(s) staring at you, when you're looking in another direction. I feel like showing them the middle finger already, but since I was chilled enough, I decided to let it go! Stupid human-beings! D:

Azie came around 2.10pm and we went to buy some snacks at the store at the control station. We proceeded to take the train. We reached Khatib around 3pm, I guess and I asked them to meet at 2pm. Haha, cool. But luckily, we reached there around 2.40pm and the sisters - Radiah & Syella came around 3pm.

Well, the initial plan was to visit the Bottle Tree Park at Khatib. But to our dissapointment, the place was closed down for the holidays! What a bummer. Shizz!

We didn't stop there. We decided to go to this reservoir near the Bottle Tree Park and it's shocking how I couldn't remember the name of the place! Memory is failing me, like ohmegosh(!). We didn't sit in the shelter though despite the scorching hot weather. We came out & enjoy the sunlight, while we could. Well, it was windy time by time so it wasn't that bad. :D

Before camwhoring, we ate the snacks we bought earlier. Not forgetting the Maggi noodles Syella fried for us! It was delicious, love! Like seriously. ;)

Around 5.45pm, we left for Northpoint. The girls & I were craving for McDonald's extra-small cokes which cost $1 by then, so the next destination was McDonalds. I think, we were the most loudest among all the other people in the restaurant. Sorry people, I just couldn't hold back my laughter. :P

I left for Ang Mo Kio around 6.30pm as requested by Mum since she was already at my Grandma's house. I was kinda lost but I managed to find my way, so hurray for me! When I reached the house, I was happy that my cousins & aunt was already there. :)

I've uploaded the other photos I took with the girls here. Feel free to take a look.

Ohmygee, January is coming to an end soon, isn't it? Gosh, how time flies. Anyway, apart from January coming to an end, on a happier note: it's Chinese New Year Eve today. Well, eventhough I'm not celebrating it, I would like to wish all my Chinese mates, a Happy Gong Xi Fa Cai! :)

Today, as suggested by my parents, shall be a Stay-Home-All-Day day. We shall spend quality time at home! Haha. Well, Zaidan has already left for religious class so it'll be left with Dad, Mom, Abang & myself at home. Speaking of Abang, he is yet to wake up! As for Mom, she went out to send Zaidan to religious class. And Ma.. thanks again for tricking me into waking up early. This time, no sarcasm... really appreciate her gesture. Well, logically, if you sleep more, you will feel refreshed when you wake up. But, what if you sleep long hours but still waking up feeling more shagged...? That means your brain is still working while you were sleeping. That's the thing I learn from the Peak Performance workshop I had at school, weeks ago.

Serenade (Sara Nadiah), my lovely neighbour, came up to my house just now to borrow a tote bag from me. Finally, I get to see her & hug(!) her. I was kind of shocked when she told me she got admitted into hospital a week ago. I'm glad she's all fine now, and she was going to head to West Coast for a family picnic later. I miss you, lovely!

2 days of holidays left. What should I do? Well.. apart from studying, doing holiday homework, spending wasting time on the home PC? Well, I guess I should start meeting up with the girlfriends! Yes! Especially the ones I've not been seeing lately: Mimi(!), Rhye, Radiah, Syella, Lala, Chippy & lots lots more. I miss ya'll, you know? *sobs*

Mom told me something when we were shopping.
"I'm thinking of upgrading the PC's RAM space."

Yes finally, she made up her mind! Not only that, she's gonna ask the mechanic(?) to repair the computer as well. And being a impatient girl, I'm gonna ask the man to install the Adobe softwares I bought days ago. Yipee yeay! Goodbye crazy computer! :B

Oh yeah, my baby cousin, Adnan, is coming later on! Woohoo! I can't wait to see his cute face! :D

My swollen eyelids are recovering, I guess. It's just a lil' bit itchy. Bummer.

P/S: Catch Alyph on 'Nenekku Superspy' (My Grandma Is A SuperSpy) tonight at Suria, 9pm!

#21.

My Saturday was alright, I guess. Just a lil' bit tiring and also, unwell. Did I tell you my left eyelid's swollen? It started becoming noticeable on Thursday. That might be the cause of the sore eyes I got on Monday & Tuesday. Anyway, just making this clear to everyone, I did not peak at anybody while they were bathing neither did I watch porn! You guys are so... nevermind. I know you're joking. :)

I was forced to wake up as early as 9am, but there wasn't an appropriate reason for me to do so. Thanks Ma. *smiles sarcastically* Sheesh. Around 10am, Dad gave a call and said he wanted to have breakfast with us and told us to get ready by 10.30pm. We had MacDonalds for breakfast. Zaidan & I had my usual Sausage w Egg McMuffin, while Dad had Hotcakes w Sausage. Mum didn't have anything though. I wonder why... hmm.

After having breakfast, Mum went to the market place near the Jurong Green's CC to buy some groceries for the household. Thank god, she made it fast. I was already yawning & yawning! Awful. We went back home right after that, and when I reached home.. I felt asleep on my comfy bed till 1pm. When I got up, my body was already aching & my eye was hurting. Shitty. Eh, the previous line rhymes! Hahaha, crap.

Left for madrasah around 1.25pm and went up to class with Syazana. As usual, we don't listen to the boring teacher. She's like mumbling to herself. -_- Like this, don't need to teach ah. Pfft! All throughout the lesson, I was talking to Syazana about 'stuffs'. :D

Went back home, and was surprised to find Mum & Lil' Fag not at home! Only Dad was at home, bathing. Minutes later, the people from Courts came to replace the TV, 'cause they sent the wrong one three days ago. Around 6, Mum & Lil' Fag came home. Pfft.

We went out minutes later, and Dad needed to go to Bukit Timah's Courts to do something to the tax invoice. After all this & that, proceeded to IMM. While Lil' Fag, Dad & Mum had dinner at Bagus, I was reading Zaidan's 'Young Scientists' mag. The reason why I didn't ate was because I had two servings of rice with fried prawns earlier at home, before going out.

Did a little bit of shopping. Since there were so many human-beings there, we decided to make it fast. As always, I'm always known for spending the most amongst my family.

A little conversation between Mum & Lil' Fag:
LF: "Ma, who spended the most today?"
M: "As always, your sister here."
LF: "Haha, knew it! Later she got boyfriend, MATI AHHHHH! Money here, money there. Haven't married, later the boyfriend koyak pocket!"

LOL! See how far my younger brother can go!? Funny sia. :B

Anyway, I managed to get myself:-
● A 'Moviestar' Photo Frame for $2, Daiso
● A 'Girls Rule, Boys Drool' Tee Shirt for $16.90, F.O.S
● A English Novel- 'Untamed', $13.86, Popular

and some other things which I forgot.

And here's a photo this somebody-somebody owes me.

This is Khidir Andiqa a.k.a Andylala in the cyber world. The one who I love seeing him working on stage! His solo during the hip-hop dance performance for CNY last Friday was AWESOME. Sexy Love by Ne-Yo! :D And, his moves was super sleek & smooth. His moves kind of reminds me of Nanep from SFB. He used to dance to that song too before, if I'm not wrong.

Whatever it is, I wish you all the best handsome. Being a leader is definitely easy, I could see that but I'm pretty sure you can handle both social life & responsibilities with care. :)

P/S: Mimi girlfriend, on behalf of all girlfriends, I would like to apologise for not coming to your Mom's chalet today. You know why right? No matter what, we still love you GF! :)

P/P/S: I'm not going to pin high hopes already, because I know it's not gonna work. Similar to what Radiah had made a deal with Syella about snapping back to reality... I think I'm going to do the same too. Studies, family & GFs definitely first! ;)

Dinner date with my Adorable Adel & Gorgeous Kae was awesome! Eventhough I didn't talk much with the girls & OneDee (Adel's friend), just so you know I had fun! I really did. Heh! Anyhoo, 2pc Chicken Meal from Popeye's for dinner yesterday. Thanks Kae, for recommending me. The dish wasn't that bad, but if it's chicken, definitely nothing beats the essence of KFC's chickkies! :)

I finally reached home around 11.45pm, and it was surprising to see my Auntie Kalsom, Cousie Iqa & Cousie Udin sitting in the living room doing their own stuffs. Sheesh, by the time the show Cousie was watching, it was time for them to go home since Auntie Kalsom's working tomorrow. Sighs. I miss you, cousin. Marina Barrage someday next week? HA. We can bring our family along! ;)

Anyway, I'm exhausted. Ending off with pictures...
P/S: Thanks for the day babes! See you around soon.

And so, today my school celebrated Chinese New Year. We still have lessons though, if you're wondering. Fortunately, time flew really fast. An hour of Chemistry was like 3o minutes of it. We had a Personal Recount test today during English, and we were only given 45 minutes to complete the essay and planning. Well, the word requirement was 250 - 400, but I went overboard. Well who cares, at least I had all my content in & got my tenses, spelling & punctuation checked! :)

Got home right after school, and an idea struck me. My dad recently arranged some furniture around the house - the living room to be precise, since the new Toshiba's Regza (a Plasma TV, duh) joined the team of clustering our house, dad bought an adorable rack for the TV which was previously in the place of our new Plasma TV.

Shoutout to Siti Syafiqah of Class 4N1 year 2009! =)

Thanks for the lollipop which tastes so good! ;)

P/S: Finally, the dinner date w Adel & Kae darling, tonight! Weehoo! :B

#18.

I had a late night sleep yet again yesterday night. Not because I couldn't sleep or other whatnots but it was because I stayed up till the wee hours of the day completing my 10 copies of the Biology glossary!

Evidence:
And at the end of diligently copying out all 10 copies, I ended up getting my hands all cramped up and sore and right now, it's still hurting. Sheesh!

School as usual was boring and draggy. 30 mins of English was torture. Maths was alright, I guess. Mrs H. didn't come for Geography so therefore, free period. Recess followed right after, and I bought a Adobe® Creative Suite® 4 Web Premium software for $99. It has a total of 8 softwares:-
1) Adobe Dreamweaver® CS4
2) Adobe Flash® CS4 Professional
3) Adobe Photoshop® CS4 Extended
4) Adobe Illustrator® CS4
5) Adobe Fireworks® CS4
6) Adobe Acrobat®9 Pro
7) Adobe Soundbooth® CS4
8) Adobe Contribute® CS4

Well, on my opinion, that's already freaking cheap for 8 Adobe softwares. The usual price for this is around $939 and we students get 89% off! Don't you think that's a bargain? Haha. I convinced Mama yesternight, and obviously at first, she wasn't so happy with the idea of me spending $99 bucks on Adobe softwares but then I convinced by asking her to look at the usual price. I'm pretty sure the market price is much higher! :D

But.. what a bummer!
My PC's being a bitch yet again for not reading the data disks!

Daddy, Mummy, Abang(!)... HELP! :B

Haha, okay whatever. And so, after recess was 30 minutes of Social Studies. Continued copying notes and making my hands sore again. :(

After that was Biology and we were tested on 8 terms: Diffusion, Osmosis, Active Transport, Respiration, Transpiration, Transpirational Pull, Aerobic Respiration & Anaerobic Respiration. Out of these 8 terms, I only managed to fully remember the definitions of Diffusion, Osmosis, Respiration, Transpiration, Aerobic Respiration & Anaerobic Respiration. :)

Malay was boring as per usual. Had some reading practices with Ms S. and did some practices in the Malay workbook. Anyhoo, after that was CME, which was replaced by Social Studies yet again and notes were taken down again, making my hands sore than it was ever before!

At the moment, my fingers feels a little bit overworked. And, I'm having my first English Test tomorrow on Personal Recount! Wish me luck. ;)

P/S: Dinner date w Adel & Kae tomorrow! Yipeee! :P

#16.

I feel so sucky at the moment. F*cking sucky. Don't ask me f*cking why. You can spot how sucky I'm feeling at the moment, by how I started off my post with a sucky picture & also the first paragraph of the post.

Currently, my PM for my MSN: "Insecure.". That sums up about almost everything. Ugh, school have been a bitch lately and I feel so lost in school, like seriously. I don't even give a hoot about what's happening around me. Today, I feel like an insane useless Syarinah. Not the happy, cheerful (on my point of view) Syarinah I used to be. People might say I've been shagged about this and that but, I don't know. Only the Almighty knows. Alhamdullilah.

Moving on, school was alright for today. Everything seemed to go in a breeze. Instead of staying in the hall for assembly, the 4N2 students had index numbers which are odd numbers were asked to proceed to the classroom for bonding. So, we shared a little bit about our personal interests and majority of it was food. :)

Next was CME, and what did the class do? Hmm.. okay, I can't recall. My memory is failing me, like seriously. Next up was an hour of PE. Had to run 1 round around the school and since me & some of my friends came back 2 minutes after the time requirement, we were asked to run 2 rounds around the ISH (Indoor Sports Hall). What a pity Zhao Yi had chest pain after the run. While I was taking my height & weight, I saw Mr L. bringing Zhao Yi in a wheelchair. She looked so pale & was crying. Pitiful ain't it? Anyway, she was alright by Maths & I was thankful.

After recess, Maths. Since the arranging tables took away 15 minutes away from the period, the first Maths class test was postponed to tomorrow. Gee, better than nothing right. I better start implicating all the Circle properties in my f*cking pea-sized brain!

After Maths was an hour of English. Since Mrs P. reached class 15 minutes late, we only managed to do a worksheet and go through the mistakes we accounted in our personal recount. I nearly failed. I scored 16 out of 30 and Mrs P. said the highest she gave was 17 out of 30. So you see how high standard she is!

Malay was boring as usual. *yawns* Biology followed after, and I wasn't pleased. Mr F. wasn't as cheerful as he was always, as he was upset with the shitty answers we gave for the previous test and I'm pretty sure I'm one of the students who gave him shitty answers and because of that, we were asked to copy down the glossary of my Biology textbook 10 times to help us remember the definitions of this & that. Well, it's helping though. It's not such a good idea but it works. It helps us absorb information while copying it times & times again.

Left halfway thru' the lesson at 1pm for CIP (Community Involvement Programme). Assembled at the Foyer and off we went to Taman Jurong for I-don't-why. Sheesh, standing in the hot sun wasn't fabulous alright. Now, I've ended up with a slight headache which I'm trying to deal with at the moment! Well, maybe that's why I'm feeling so suckish. And it might be the cause of my sudden moodswing. *sighs*

Ended around 4 and took 185 with the other 4N2 mates who went for the CIP, back to school. Before heading home, I had early dinner at Teh Tarik with Augustina (♥!), Eric, Zi Heng, Jian Ri, Amanda, Zhuan Yi and some other people whom I forgot. Sorry! =]

When I got home, I got surprised with the new Plasma (Samsung's Regza 42") when I got home. It's freaking big and luckily it could fit onto our cute rack. Haha! Papa picked the right one!

I waited till 8.30pm and tune into OktoLIVE! since Freaky Z was going to perform. Saturday was always my favourite song from his 2nd album; Fymps! And this guy is crazy! In March, he's going to release a second album titled 'Bassick'. Give him support on the way alright. Young's album launch was a success & I'm pretty sure Fazli's one gonna be great! :D

2 down, 8 more to go!

P/S: To Adel, get well soon darling. See you on Friday! ;)

#15.

I went back home right after school today, and reached home right after 2pm. Before heading home, thought I would get myself a Chicken Ramly Burger for lunch today and I did, since I have the remaining buckaroos left unused in my wallet, given by Ma on Sat. It's cost $2.50 and to go along with that, I also bought a Cheese Hotdog to munch on, on the way home. Yes I know, I look very petite but I am actually a big eater (at times). *smiles*

Anyhoo, as told in the previous post, I received my IC today and I got butterflies in my stomach before & after the ceremony (which was abit weird, d-u-h). My serial number was 62 so basically, I had to wait for 61 people before me. Tiring, and I couldn't stop fidgeting around. But still, I've passed my IC to my daddy, hoping that he'll take good care of my IC :)

To start the day, we had English lessons to start off with. Followed by Maths, recess, an hour & a half of Art, an hour of Social Studies and finally, 30 mins of Malay. I'm starting to feel very lost. My notebook which is used to jot down homeworks & reminders is simply no use to me 'cause even with that, I can't even get myself to get tasks over & done with. Life's being a Secondary 4 student, is HECTIC with a capital 'H'.

And now, my back area near the neck is pathetically sore because of I-don't-know-why!
Seriously, making me lose focus in class. I feel like an old haggard, literally!

Girlfriends, I hope all of you can make it this Saturday to you-know-where!
Updates are over at the site. Do update me asap alright?
I want to meet ya'll like muhfuckin' hell.

I'm getting sleepy now, but I have to fetch my younger brother later on. Lazy! D:

P/S: Dinner date w Adel & Kae darlings this Friday! Weehuu. :B

I feel very irritated. Nah, nobody irritated me but my eyes did. Well, for these past few days, my eyes have been agitating with me for so long, making me lose focus in what I wanna do. Even now when I'm typing, the sides of my eyes are itching & making me squint my eyes to make the pain go away, temporarily.

Well, my Sunday for the 18th day of the first month in 2009 sucked. Basically, BORING! In the morning, went out to the market to help Ma get some groceries with the whole family. When we came back, Zaidan got ready for religious class whereas Ma, Pa & Grandma got ready to attend a wedding ceremony at Tampines without me, since I was given a task to fetch Zaidan from religious class. I was late, for a few mere minutes. I'm pretty sure my lil' bro understand. I think he can understand why I'm always late. Heh!

This is the pictures Izaril sent me earlier just now. He took it with his cute Lumix cammy. :D
Thanks!

This shot is effing candid. I didn't realise Rafie (the photographer) took this till he tagged me in Facebook. Wah, Naufal seh. Heh. Thanks Rafie! :)

I'll be receiving my IC tomorrow, and I'm abit nervous. There's gonna be a ceremony and all, but luckily some of my classmates are in this with me. Yeah, I'm not alone. My Chio Bu; Ting Zhi's receiving her IC too! :)

Lastly, I've changed my blog song. Some Love.Soul.Desire ish from the November Child. It's titled 'Shadows', which Naufal wrote for his late grandpa. Whenever I hear this song, I can feel the passion in his voice & his lyrics. It's really touching. Hope you can feel the aura surrounding you when you hear this song. Peace.

I had a blast yesterday, despite my exhaustion & fatigue from what I overcame before going to this gig, as stated above: Impromptu and also the soft launch of Young's solo album, Love.Soul.Desire.

Well, I wouldn't want to talk too much 'cause I'm getting really sleepy. Look at the time!
I only got on the PC like 2 hours ago, and I spent the time editing photos, chatting with Nau, Izaril, Aydah & Ayinn. And now, my PC's being a bitch as it's not reading Love.Soul.Desire! Shitoes. This suck. I want the songs on my PSP! And my phone too.. Anyone help?

Anyhoo, here are the photos. Enjoy! :)

If you readers who were at the gig just now, I'm happy because:-

Firstly, Freaky Z said something really nice about Girlfriends, saying we've been loyal supporters and stuff. We truly appreciate it. Thanks Freaky Z! :)

Second, I met my sweet cuppy cake, Syazana & her friend, Dwi. Glad to hear that they enjoyed the gig & wanted more! Yes, 7th Feb is the day then! :D

Third, thanks to the hugs by the November Child :)

Fourthly, finally one of my idols from the XS.1 Regiment launched an album - Naufal :B

Lastly, the 1st hip-hop event from 65&Hope went well! Grats!

P/S: I elle-ohh-vee-eee you.
